Credit Controller

G-Star Raw is looking for a Credit Controller in Amsterdam. In this role you will be in charge of credit control for the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. You will work in cooperation with Sales, Finance and Logistics and will be based in Amsterdam.

Tasks and responsibilities
- daily verbal contact and negotiations with the customers regarding the collection of outstanding overdues
- ensure that the regional DSO (days sales outstanding) is as low as possible against set targets
- evaluation of the customer's credit worthiness and establishment of the customers' credit limits
- regular contact with the credit insurance company and use of various supporting sources
- regular review and update of the credit limits
- management of the blocked orders
- managing the documentation flow towards the customer: account statements, dunning letters, written reminders
- account reconciliation
- cooperation with Finance regarding the allocation of incoming payments
- preparation and communication to the customers of the payment plans
- communicate pro-actively with internal and external customer on significant issues
- query management

- 3 to 5 years’ of experience in credit and collections
- good working knowledge of SAP
- excellent MS Office skills
- team player and strong communication skills
- fluent in German and Dutch (preferably also in English)
