Job description

As a bicycle courier at Thuisbezorgd in Leiden, you will cycle all over the city centre to deliver meals. Your shift starts at home, where you get on your own well-functioning bike and receive your first order via the app. You pick up the order at the restaurant and then deliver it to the customer with a smile on your face. Order delivered? Then you get to work on a new order. And... the tip is yours! 

What does this cool job entail?

Besides the fact that you get to keep all your tips, you will also receive a kilometer allowance per kilometer ridden. This kilometer allowance is € 0,10 per kilometer on a normal bike and € 0,19 for an electric bike. So suppose you work on your own electric bike and cycle, say, 10 kilometers in an hour, you will receive € 1,90 more per hour!

Your gross hourly wage? You earn € 13,27 from the age of 21 and over. In addition, that means you have the kilometer allowance and tips.

Bonus? Definitely! 
At Thuisbezorgd in Leiden, we work with several bonus schemes.

• Do you work more than 16 hours a week? Then you earn a bonus of € 0,50 per hour, for all the hours that you've worked in that week. 

Who are you?

You are in possession of a good working bike, reasonably sporty and above all motivated. 
You love working outdoors and are not afraid of a bit of rain. For the position of bicycle courier, it is important that you are available at least two days a week, with at least one day in the weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday). Of course, it is also possible to work more hours at Thuisbezorgd in Leiden.
