Working from home as a bicycle courier in downtown Alphen aan den Rijn to deliver meals to various customers.
What will you do?
As a bicycle courier in Alphen aan den Rijn, you will deliver orders throughout the city. In this way, you will get to know Alphen aan den Rijn in a sporty and fun way. Because who doesn't want to get to know the best restaurants in their own city? How do you work? Your working day starts right from home. You start up the app and receive the first notification. On your own bike, you head towards the restaurant where you wait for the order to be ready. You take the order to the customer via the directions that can also be seen in the app. How easy is that! Once you've delivered the order, you'll receive another order via the app.
What will you earn?
Your gross wage is €11.51- per hour (from 21 years and older). You don't have to share any tips you get. If you wish the customer a nice meal every time with your best smile and you get a tip for it, it goes straight into your own pocket. On top of that, you also get a very nice kilometre allowance which I explain to you below.
Bonus? Definitely!
At Thuisbezorgd in Alphen aan den Rijn, we work with several bonus schemes.
The more hours you work per week, the more bonus you receive! If you work between 16 and 24 hours a week, you will receive a €1 bonus per hour. If you work between 24 and 39 hours a week, you will receive €1.25 per hour. If you work 40 hours a week, you will receive a €2.- bonus per hour!

You work on your own bike and receive kilometre allowance
As a bicycle courier, you use your own bicycle and receive a kilometre allowance per kilometre ridden. For a normal bicycle, this is €0.10 and if you ride an electric bicycle, it is even €0.19 per kilometre. So if you have your own electric bike and you ride, say, 10 kilometres in an hour, you will already have added 2 euros per hour!
Availability?
In Alphen aan den Rijn the evenings are busy, so your shift will start late afternoon until around 21:00. At Thuisbezorgd, you have to work at least 2 shifts a week, one of which must be at the weekend. (Friday, Saturday or Sunday). If you would like to work more than 2 shifts, this is also possible! You can specify your own availability on a weekly basis, so you are very flexible in that respect.
