As an Order Picker at GXO in Nieuwegein, you'll work in an environment where you are responsible for collecting and packing orders. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to use advanced tools like a voice-picking headset to help you work quicker and more precisely.
This position is perfect if you enjoy an active and physical job. A typical workday starts with a team meeting where tasks are distributed. You then proceed with picking products using a scanner. There is plenty of opportunity to chat with colleagues and enjoy lunch together. Flexibility is key; you will work between 32 and 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
The work schedule is shift-based, with hours running Monday through Sunday:
- Morning shift: 05:00/05:30 – 14:00
- Night shift: 19:00/20:00 – 04:00 (Saturday shift: 16:00/17:00 – 23:00)
It is also possible that after a small period you can get your Reachtruck certificate or work at Outbound where you help unloading the trucks.
