Beschrijving

We are looking for an Assortment Planner who will be responsible for optimizing demand and supply to effectively serve consumers, drive profitable growth, and improve inventory productivity. This role focuses on developing strategic and operational assortment plans across multiple channels and seasons.

• Develop seasonal plans covering sales, margin, receipts, and inventory across product categories and marketplace channels
• Own and manage product-driven Open-to-Buy forecasts to support manufacturing and supply decisions
• Conduct weekly and monthly performance analysis to update sales and inventory forecasts
• Analyze business performance against plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and propose action plans
• Monitor product performance, stock levels, and sales trends to support pricing and trading decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain
• Lead demand planning processes, including purchase position management, forecast variance communication, and inventory issue resolution
• Track and manage KPIs related to inventory and delivery performance, driving continuous improvement
• Ensure operational excellence through effective use of planning tools, systems, and data accuracy

Requirements

• Proven experience in assortment planning or a similar planning function (retail)
• Basic understanding of financial planning, product planning, and supply planning
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of retail metrics and business drivers
• Ability to apply data-driven and statistical forecasting methods
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams
• Awareness of market trends and ability to translate insights into business impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and growth
